We are, in this portion of our website, attempting to preserve the writings of local folks who have taken the time to author and share with the Historical Society the fruit of their research.  The writers are as varied as their topics but their common purpose is to educate us and connect us with the people who lived, worked and perhaps even died here in Faribault County.  

Many, but not all, of these stories have appeared in our Newsletter, published and mailed three times annually by a volunteer crew.  We hope you enjoy each writing.
